BOKO Designs at the National Home Show Toronto 2026

Two beds, one booth and ten days of conversations about bedrooms.

From March 6 to 15, 2026, BOKO Designs exhibited at the National Home Show at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, in Toronto. Among more than 500 exhibitors, our booth 3517 was set up like a real bedroom, so visitors could sit on the beds, touch the fabrics and see how a custom piece changes a whole room.

We brought two pieces that show two very different sides of our work: the Max bed from our collection, and a custom king bed built into a full headboard wall.

Max: a queen bed with a tall channel headboard

Max is one of the beds from our Shop. At the show we presented it in queen size, upholstered in a dark sage green fabric.

Its headboard is built from tall vertical channels and extends past the width of the frame, so the bed reads as a calm, architectural piece rather than a simple frame. The low upholstered base keeps the proportions clean, and the colour sits easily with natural wood, white walls and warm neutrals.

Max is made to order in our workshop, with a choice of sizes and fabrics. The version at the show is one combination among many.

A custom king bed built into the wall

The second piece was designed as a complete bed wall rather than a bed alone:

  • a tall upholstered headboard of ivory panels in a geometric pattern, separated by slim silver strips;
  • black fluted columns and tall mirrors on both sides, with wall sconces mounted on the mirrors;
  • floating black nightstands fixed to the panels, so the floor stays clear;
  • an upholstered bed frame and a matching upholstered bench at the foot of the bed.

Designed together, the bed, nightstands and wall work as one feature. This is what bespoke furniture means to us: the piece is drawn for the wall it will stand against, not adapted from a catalogue size.

Fabrics you could hold in your hand

A swatch book in our full colour range sat on the bed through the show. Many conversations started there: how a colour looks in daylight, how a texture feels, and which fabrics suit a busy household.

That is also the easiest part to experience in person. Our Concord showroom has the same fabrics, by appointment.

Thank you, Toronto

Thank you to everyone who stopped by booth 3517, sat on the beds and shared plans for their bedrooms. If you met us at the show, or missed us, you can see more of our work in Our Projects, or book a showroom visit to see the fabrics and frames up close.

Questions we heard at the show

Can a bed be made to my room’s dimensions? Yes. Custom and bespoke pieces are designed around your wall, mattress and space. Shop beds such as Max come in set sizes with fabric and option choices.

Can you build nightstands or panels into the headboard wall, like the king bed at the show? Yes. Headboard walls, upholstered panels, mirrors and wall-mounted nightstands can be designed as one piece. Tell us about your space and we will suggest a starting point.

Where can I see BOKO beds in person? At our showroom at 270 Pennsylvania Ave #8, Concord, by appointment: Mon–Fri 9 am – 7 pm, Sat–Sun 9 am – 3 pm.
