Delivery & installation
We want your order to arrive as soon as possible, on a day that works for you. All items in an order are delivered together, and we give you an estimated timeline when you place your order.
Custom orders
- Estimated production: 6–7 weeks after design approval. Delivery and installation are scheduled separately.
- Delivered and installed by our own team.
- Free delivery and installation in Toronto and the GTA.
- Outside the GTA, priced by distance (see below).
- We contact you near the end of production to book a date and time.
- Installation takes from about 3 hours, depending on the size of the bed.
Shop orders
- Estimated production: 4–5 weeks. Delivery is scheduled separately.
- Delivered across Canada at the rates below.
- Your exact delivery cost is calculated at checkout from your postal code.
- Pick-up is available: please wait for our confirmation call before coming to collect your order.
- For pick-up, bring a larger vehicle and someone to help, as our warehouse team cannot assist with loading.
Installation is clean. When our team finishes, they tidy up and clean everything they used or touched.
Delivery dates are good-faith estimates. Most orders arrive within the times we give you, but transport involves factors outside our control. BOKO Designs is not liable for loss, cost or expense caused by a delay in delivery. We cannot deliver to PO boxes.
Delivery prices
Prices are calculated by distance from our Toronto workshop. Sales tax (GST/HST) applies to delivery.

United States
We deliver and install in the United States. Because every address is different, the price for delivery and installation is quoted individually. Contact us with your full address and we will send you a quote and confirm the details before you order.
Orders shipped to the US cross the border, so customs paperwork is part of the delivery. Any duties or customs brokerage fees that may apply are confirmed with you in advance, together with your quote.
Preparing for installation
- Please make sure the room is empty and clear, so our team has space to work.
- Our installers do not move or remove existing beds or furniture. Please arrange this before we arrive.
- Plan to be home for the whole installation, so you can inspect the bed with our team before they leave.
Inspection & damage
BOKO covers any damage that happens during transport or installation by our team. We will come back and replace the damaged parts.
Custom orders: please inspect your bed while our installation team is still with you, and tell them right away about anything you notice. Once our installers have left your home, we cannot guarantee that later damage claims will be accepted.
Shop orders: please inspect the product and packaging at the time of delivery, note any issue on the delivery paperwork when you sign, tell our delivery team and contact us right away. For pick-up orders, BOKO Designs is not responsible for loss or damage once the order has been handed over to you or to the person you appoint.
Cancellations
Custom orders: a custom order cancelled before production begins is subject to a 30% fee. Production begins once you approve the final drawing. From that moment, materials are cut and production costs are incurred, so the order can no longer be cancelled or refunded.
Shop orders: cancelled orders are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Returns
Custom orders are non-returnable. Each piece is made to your design and your dimensions, which is why you approve the drawing before production starts.
Shop orders: if you are not satisfied, contact us within 15 days of the delivery date and we will send you all the details to start a return. Returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee. We can only accept items in their original packaging and in like-new condition, so products with scratches, stains, damage or modifications cannot be returned. If you are considering a return, please keep the original packaging. Your refund is issued once the product has been received and inspected by our team.
Lifetime frame warranty
Every BOKO bed is built on a solid maple frame and made to last a lifetime. It is freestanding, never glued or fixed to the wall, and it can be taken apart and moved to another room or another home. That is why we stand behind it.
What is covered, for life
- The solid maple frame structure of your bed: headboard frame, bed frame and platform.
- Joints, plywood and metal brackets that hold the frame together.
- Defects in materials or workmanship that affect the frame under normal residential use.
What is not covered
- Upholstery fabric and leather, foam and fibre: natural wear, softening, fading, pilling, stains or spills.
- Damage from misuse, accidents, pets, water, fire or excessive weight.
- Damage caused when the bed is moved, taken apart or reassembled by anyone other than BOKO.
- Modifications or repairs made by someone other than BOKO.
- Commercial or rental use.
Who the warranty is for
The lifetime frame warranty applies to the original purchaser of the bed, including after you move it to another room or another home.
How to make a warranty claim
Email info@bokodesigns.ca with your name, your order number or date of purchase, a short description and clear photos of the issue. Our team will review it and, if needed, arrange an inspection. If the issue is covered, we will repair or replace the affected frame parts.
This warranty does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Photos of your project
With your agreement, our team usually photographs and films your finished bed after installation. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes. These photos and videos are used only for the BOKO Designs portfolio, to show our work to future clients. You are always free to say no.
